i'm supposed to be writing the part 2 of "my confessions" right now but i'm pretty bummed... i'm in the office right now, forcing myself to work... dad's in taipei while my mom's got her social events lined up so i have no choice but to lock myself in here and do stupid paperwork...
on the side, i'm kinda reminiscing about the past semester... a lot really happened...
first, the former block population of 48 went down to 34... a lot got debarred or transferred schools or colleges... second, we got only 2 (or was it 1?) female professors and the rest were guys... third, most of the subjects suck big time to the point that it made us sleep... lastly, we all barely had a social life because of the hectic academic schedule...
on the lighter side of things, well, we got our goofy moments as a class... like the time when we had to go to Benavidez park (aka Lover's Lane) to dig up earthworms for zoology lab that we needed for dissection... it was pretty humiliating because a lot of the CFAD students were there and they were watching us and laughing like hell... then there were those recitation moments in POS wherein we would have to stand infront of the class and let our professor torment us with his goddamned hard questions until we sweat like crazy... and of course, who can forget about the very boring chem lab (aka sleeping time)? that's the time when we would all bow down and pretend to be taking down notes and say nothing but "yes ma'am" to every question that our professors (aka cory and kris aquino) would ask...
these are but a few examples... they may not seem funny to you but those are like our breathers from all the hassle that we get from studying...
i had little adventures on my own... my usual bumpin' and grindin' in the corridors, how i would beg and plead our prof in POS to give us extra points just so everyone in the class would pass, spending almost all of my money for the delicious brownies and oatmeal cookies that the biosoc sold during the bake sale, the late-night parties that are school-related, the endless debut parties/eighteen roses dance and above all, the habitual tardiness for english class (almost got myself an FA or failure due to absences)...
really, i need to get a new attitude for next semester... need to improve my grades... especially in math (aaarrggghhh!!!)...
