immediately left the laruku convention yesterday when marsy called me up... i knew it was such a wrong move to text aki (baka shi ren! baka!)...

so i just drove around, trying to find starbucks... didn't find one around pasig though (which is really stupid because i'm sure there's no way that there ain't a starbucks branch in there!) so i ended up at megamall...

after walking for almost 50 golden years (thank you les for that expression), guess who in the world walked up to me? my long lost ex-girlfriend, phoebe...

phoebe: sabi ko na nga ba ikaw yan!
me: hey... how'd you know?
phoebe: makikilala ko yang batok mo kahit gaano kalayo!
me: batok ko?
phoebe: alam mo namang crush na crush ko yang batok mo... ang puti, ang balbon, sarap i-rape!
me: *laughs* really? uhm... thanks... who are you with? your folks?
phoebe: hindi... kasama ko si joseph...
me: pinapayagan ka nang makipag-date nang walang bantay ngayon? wow... he's lucky...
phoebe: and he doesn't have to crossdress! hindi tulad mo...
*silence*
phoebe: but that's the sweetest thing a guy has and could ever do for me... crossdressing just to be with me...
me: *laughs* don't remind me! nakakahiya yun! ayoko na nga maalala yun!
phoebe: masarap isipin yun... and iniisip ko rin kung kaya ba yun gawin ni joseph para sa akin kung nagkataon na pareho kayo ng situation...
me: don't... just be glad that you're now with him... i know he makes you happy... and i'm happy for you... *shows her my left hand* see that? di ko na suot yung "wedding ring" natin... pinirmahan ko na yung divorce papers...
phoebe: *smiles* gusto mo sumama sa amin ni joseph?
me: hell no! you guys should enjoy your time together! *sees joseph* yan na boyfriend mo... i better go now...
phoebe: *hold my hand* josh, he's nothing compared to you...
me: you should've told me that before you left me...

phoebe is just a part of my past now... i can always go back to that past but i choose not to...

i'm happier with the life i have now...
